Children of Men is a Sci-Fi thriller directed by Alfonso Cuaron. The film was produced by Hilary Shor, Iain Smith, Tony Smith, Marc Abraham & Eric Newman. The film is based of The Children of Men by P.D. James. The film stars Clive Owen (Theo Faron), Julianne Moore (Julian Taylor) & Michael Cain (Jasper Palmer).

The themes that are in this this film are hope, religion, & faith.

All hope was lost when the youngest person on the planet died at the age of 18 however it was brought back when Theo found out that Kee was pregnant. Theo did not care when the youngest person died however when he realised that Kee was pregnant, he changed as a person.

During the beginning of the film we see that most people believe that the infertility is a punishment from God. There are little symbols in the film that relate to Christianity. For example, Kee revealing her pregnancy to Theo was in a barn which relates to Joseph & Mary, you could say that Children of Men is a modern day nativity story.
