Undefeated is a sports documentary directed by Daniel Lindsay & T. J Martin. Rich Middlemas, Glen Zipper, Daniel Lindsay, Seth Gordon & Ed Cunningham produced the film. The production companies involved in the film are Zipper Bros Films, Spitfire Pictures, Five Smooth Stones Production & Level 22 Productions. The film was distributed by the Weinstein Company (USA) & Alliance Films (Canada). The film was released on March 13th 2011. Undefeated received $562,218 at the box office. On February 26th 2012, Undefeated won an Academy Award for the Best Documentary Feature. Daniel Lindsay & T. J. Martin were co-directors, cinematographers, sound recorders & editors. They recorded more than 500 hours of footage. The film stars Montrail 'Money' Brown, O.C. Brown, Bill Courtney, Chavis Daniels & Jeff Germany.

Undefeated follows the journey of young American football players & their coach Bill Courtney. Their struggles are documented as well as their success.

A key scene in this film is when Money injured his leg, which resulted in him not playing football for almost the whole season. This affected the way he felt, his mood & he lost hope. He felt replaced when someone else joined & wore the shirt with the number 54 on it. Another key scene is when Chavis apologised to Money in front of the whole team. Money then started to cry.

This film documents the emotions of these young players & the coach. I would say this documentary is an observational documentary.
