Purani Haveli is a bollywood horror movie with the themes of love, religion, & family issues. This film was produced by Gangu Ramsay, written by J.K. Ahuja & Arjun Ramsay. The films starred Deepak Parashar, Amita Nangia, Neelam Mehra, Vijay Arora, Tej Sapru & Satish Shah.
Purani Haveli is another one of the Ramsay films, other films I have watched included Purana Mandir (1984), Tahkana (1986) & Ghutan (2007). Judging by the films I have watched by the Ramsay brothers, they all have similar themes & mainly rely on non diegetic sound.
The key scene in this film when Sunil is taken outside of the dungeon by the old man & is given information about why the monster exists. This allows the audience to gain an understanding on what is happening & what is going to happen next.
