Meat Grinder is a Thai film directed by Tiwa Moeithaisong. The film was produced by Phra Nakorn Film Co. Ltd. & written by the director themselves. Meat Ginder is a Thai crime horror starring Mai Charoenpura (Buss). The cut version was released in Thailand in 2009 due to censorship & re-cuts. The uncut film was released in the UK on August 23rd 2010 & it received negative responses. In Thailand the film was called "Guay-dteow Neua Kon" which translates to "Human Meat Noodles" however it changed to "Cheuat Gon Chim" which means "Carve Before Tasting". It was changed because beef noodle shop owners & vendors protested about the direct link to the food. In 2010 the film was nominated for three awards at the Thailand National Film Association Awards.
